This one's for Colin
Ichiro Suzuki set a record hitting safely 56 times in the month of August. He accomplished this in style getting three hits on the last day of the month...
Democrat Senator Claims Kerry Wants to Fight Wars with Spit Balls --
Sorry for posting this on a sports blog entry; however, the shortage of convention coverage on this blog has been noticed. The Republican Convention is simply leaving our hosts speechless.
In any event, in a show of bipartisanship, I will admit here that Democrat Zell Miller's speech last night at the Republican Convention was one of the best I have ever seen. While Zell says he will die a Democrat, he takes the high road that protecting one's family must come before party. That is why he is voting for President Bush.
According to Miller, who has shared the same party as Kerry for decades, Kerry actually wants to get rid of most all of our weapons systems so our soldiers can fight wars with nothing but spit balls. Maybe this is what Kerry meant when he said we should fight a more sensitive war.
Since this Anti-Bush Blog went silent, Bush's popularity has gone through the roof. Bush is now up 11% points in one poll. He is leading in Floriday, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Missouri -- in most all of the key battleground states.
Some may say that Clinton's surgery (we wish him a full and speedy recovery) may hurt Kerry, but I say that Colin's absence from this blog is having even more of an effect.
