I have not posted a movie review in a long time, BC I am poor and never go to the movies, so here it goes.
Alexander by Oliver Stone
This was quite possibly one of the top 5 worst movies I have ever seen. It was dull, boring, suddenly odd but at least it was really long and poorly acted.
It made Alex look like a wimp and way over played his bi-sexuality. It was as if the only thing Alex did in his life was sleep with men and be obsessed with his parents. Just a lame movie and really not even worth posting on except I want to keep others from having to endure it. Can anyone say razzie award?

I am no Oliver Stone fan. Like most Stone movies, I thought he would distort the truth completely. I didn't think I'd like the movie. Given that predisposition, and the fact that the movie had gotten terrible reviews, I actually thought it was an alright movie. I'd rate it 2 stars out of 4. Not the worst movie I've ever seen - that would be Farrenheit 9/11. But, I thought Alexander was OK.

sorry yanni I have to disagree with you and your alter ego. This movie was terrible and no one should ever see it. Just let it fall into the dust bin of terrible movies. I love Oliver Stone movies but this one SUCKED. As for him being gay... I have no problem that he was gay but I do have a problem with a movie about Alexander showing 2 battle scenes and 2 hours of him discussing his relationship with his mother or lover. It is just not that big a part of the story. That would e like making a movie about Bush and spending 2 hours on his foreign policy and bugetary success...just wouldn't make sense.
