Time to break out the tinfoil hats....

What does it say about our government, when you read a story about how your computer printer contains a secret code that can be used to track you down in every document you print and you say to yourself, "I can't believe it. No, wait. I can absolutely believe it."

This isn't shades of Big Brother, this is positively Orwellian. Time to go buy a typewriter. (Does anyone remember those things?)

Here's the lead paragraph:
---------------------------------------------------
It sounds like a conspiracy theory, but it isn't. The pages coming out of your color printer may contain hidden information that could be used to track you down if you ever cross the U.S. government.

This is very disturbing and yet another sign of how Bush and Rummy are watching our every move. This threat should not be taken lightly. Be careful.

Librarians, in particular should be extra cautious because Cheney is watching what you are reading at every step. The USA Patriot Act is rubbish!!!

Obviously, all of this is sarcasm on my part, but to all you conspiracy theorists out there, I ask you a simple question:

Which of the following do you believe, is the most likely to actually occur first in the United States:

1) The killer african bees will finally make it out of Texas and kill a lot of us?

2) Global warming will result in the ice glaciers melting, thus drowning most all of us?

3)The bird flu jumps to humans and kills a lot of us?

4) Bush is unsuccessful in banning cloning and researchers clone a donkey and a bird and the donkey flies?; or

5) Bush, Cheny, and Rumsfeld implant microchips in our minds and program us to destroy anyone who prints out pro democratic literature or anyone who checks out any pro democrat reading material from the public library?

Colin is in the bliss stage of a relationship. Good for him. Bad for us.

Don't get me wrong--I adore Kathleen but Colin is MIA--with an emphasis on the ACTION.

Come on Colin old boy. Just because you are finally "gittin sum" doesn't mean you can't post on your blog anymore. I mean, what about the other 24 hours 59 minutes and 30 seconds of every day?

Yanni, I think you've just demonstrated how Republican math works... This might explain how Miers got $5 per square foot for land that was only worth $0.30 per square foot... http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/metropolitan/3409464

Tim -

Thanks for pointing out my error. As a fellow lawyer, I'm sure you know well how to bill more than 24 hours a day. If not, perhaps Canon can give us a tutorial?
