I am shocked, shocked! to find out that the Bush regime resorted to paying journalists to promote its corrupt policies.
After all, the press usually just goes along with propogating the latest talking points from the White House.

Since I am not a member of this blog, I have to resort to posting replies on other things. But, I just saw the movie Closer with Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Julia Roberts and wanted to say a few things.
First, this movie engenders serious passions. Some folks hate it; others think it is one of the best movies they have ever seen.
No, no no, it doesn't bash George W. Bush or doesn't bash drug companies or EVIL, EVIL HMOs, it is simply about relationships in a complex world.
The acting was fantastic. Jude Law and Portman were magnificent. The story lines, while bizarre, were captivating. The characters were complex and thought provoking.
While this movie isn't for everyone, particularly those younger than 18, I found it to be one of my top 3 movies of the year.
That said, I rate it 4 GYROS with extra sauce!
Ya know, Yanni, you could get your own blog. It's not that hard... Then again, seeing as how Colin only posts about once a month, having anyone write anything isn't such a bad thing
