Sore Losermont?
Yes, it is true - to the delight of this blog(ger) it looks like Lieberman is going to defeat Lamont. This will be a victory for independent thought everywhere and a rejection of those elements of society who support the party-line radicalization of government.
Lieberman is now up at least 8 points in the polls and Lamont is being forced to spend more of his own money as campaign donations have dried up.

Newest poll out, here is the article from the National Journal.
"Connecticut. Sen. Joseph Lieberman, running for re-election as an independent, has a big lead over Democrat Ned Lamont in a Quinnipiac University poll released today. The poll of 881 likely voters, conducted Tuesday through Thursday, showed Lieberman with 52 percent, Lamont with 35 percent and Republican Alan Schlesinger with 6 percent. In a poll at the end of September, Lieberman bested Lamont by 10 points. The new survey has a 3.5-point error margin. Meanwhile, Lieberman held a news conference Thursday to complain that Lamont was trying to buy the seat with a $1 million television advertising blitz. Lamont has contributed more than $10 million of his own fortune to his Senate bid."
