Culture of Corruption

Roll Call reports today that Rep. William Jefferson (D-La) is at it again. You may remember him from the allegations that he accepted bribes and subsequently federal agents found $90,000 cash in his home freezer. Now, according to Roll Call, he sent out a letter on his official Congressional stationery asking colleagues to donate money to help him retire his campaign debt. Too bad it violates House ethics rules to use taxpayer resources to raise campaign money.

Any thoughts from our Democrat readers on what should be done here?
