Kudos to Bernard Sanders, the freshman Independent from Vermont, for missing his first roll call vote in the United States Senate yesterday. What an outstanding way to begin your career in the U.S. Senate. Let's congratulate him on a job well done. The citizens of Vermont should be proud of their new senator.
This is an interesting post. I hope to hear more from this "anonymous" person.
I remain a big fan of Vermont Senator Jim Jeffords, who Sanders replaced. Jeffords was a very, very nice man. A Rhodes scholar. And, he also gave me some great quotes for my book.
