Bush Confirms His Vendetta on the U.S.
| In a speech today Bush stated that “Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we,” Bush said. “They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.” I guess that pretty much sums it up.

I think that the ability to speak extremely well in public should be the one quality we use to judge all elections, don't you?
The problem is not that he mis-spoke it is that the sentence was clearly written that way. If you watch the full clip the writer was clearly trying to link this line with the line before. Plus, Bush was not going off the cuff he was reading directly from a sheet of paper. This was anot a classic Bushism because someone stuck these stupid words in his mouth rather than him sticking his silver boot in it.
So, you honestly think that Bush sits back and thinks of ways to purposefully hurt the American people? If so, you are even more nuts than I thought.
What I think is that someone on Bush's staff is a boob and should be fired. This was clearly a mistake by the speech writter and passing this off as bush not being able to speak is not right. Either that or Cheney has taken over the speech writing and was just writing his true feelings :-)
